Building Equality LGBTQIAP+ Toolbox Talk

Presented by Tom Williamson (Building Equality West Yorkshire Chair (BAM)) and Jason Miles-Summers (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Consultant at Beyond Labels Consulting)

This webinar explores LGBTQ+ inclusion across the built environment and the part we can all play in creating workplaces where people feel respected and able to be themselves.

The session introduces LGBTQ+ terminology, identities and pronouns, alongside key moments in LGBTQ+ history. It examines the barriers people still face in our industry, including discrimination, bullying and everyday microaggressions, and how these affect wellbeing and working life.
