What does someone's sexual orientation have to do with their work life?
How can I start discussions about LGBT issues in my business?
What should I do if I say the wrong thing and what is the wrong thing to say?
How can I help support LGBT+ colleagues as an ally?
There are so many questions to be asked but potentially aren't because people don't want to offend or upset. However, without talking about LGBT+ issues, we are in danger of failing to support an estimated 7% of our colleagues.
Our panel members will speak about their lives as LGBT+ individuals living and working in the construction industry. Then we will open the floor to questions, anonymously if you would prefer.
