Greater Manchester Winter Social: Their Time to Sparkle

Join us for our winter social! Hosted by the hilarious Miss Tiara, we’re raising money for Sparkle and the National Trans Memorial in Sackville Gardens. We have a fun-filled night install for you with a chance to learn, network and win a £50 voucher.

Doors open from 5.30pm, where you can grab a drink, network with colleagues in the Built Environment and hear Miss Tiara DJ.

From 6pm, we’ll be showcasing a series of short films by Director Sarah Jenny Johnson, documenting the transition journey of her friend Eli. There’ll be a Q&A to follow.

After a short break, it’ll be time to get your heads down for our ‘Big Gay Quiz’. Brush up on your LGBTQIA+ history and cultural knowledge or expect to feel the force of the hilarious Miss Tiara’s quick wit. There's a £50 voucher up for stake, (& a boobie prize for the loser) so bring along your dream team with you and your best quiz name for extra points.

This will be a great opportunity to network with colleagues in the Built Environment and learn more about the trans community who are facing an increase in transphobia and threats against their human rights.

Tickets are £2 with options to donate more. There will also be opportunities to donate on the night.
