About the event
In the run up to Leeds Pride, Building Equality are hosting a networking fundraiser event for local charity TransLeeds.
TransLeeds is a grass roots, peer support organisation that supports and is run by trans, non-binary and gender expansive people in Leeds and the surrounding areas. They run support groups, social events, a binder library, offer advocacy, and provide training.
We have a selection of amazing panel speakers lined up who will discuss the importance of queer spaces in a city and the impact it has on Leeds.
This event is open to everyone working in the construction industry, built environment and property sectors regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. This event is free to attend, with food, alcoholic drinks and soft drinks provided. However, TransLeeds will be present and it is greatly appreciated if attendees make donations on the evening.
