About the event
How to get involved:
This year, we have secured over 75 walking places alongside the rainbow JCB for Manchester Pride. We have North West Pride Committee working in the background to organise our entry and you, or your company, must be involved to secure your spot.
Theme:
As we celebrate ‘Buzzin’ to be Queer - A Hive of Progress’ the ‘Progress Bee’ becomes more than a symbol; it becomes a call to action. It reminds us that, just like worker bees collaborating in a hive, LGBTQ+ communities and their allies can achieve great things when united. The bee symbolises not only the hard work that has defined the city's history but also the ongoing commitment to progress, inclusivity, and equality that Manchester Pride champions.
Parade:
The main parade sets off from Castlefield around noon and makes it's way through the streets of Manchester to reach the Gay Village.
Other Manchester Pride Events:
- Pre-Pride Breakfast: Before the event we'll be hosting a boozey breaskfast in the city centre to kick start the celebrations before the parade. Details to appear closer to the time.
- Post Parade Party: At the end of the parade we'll head to a local venue to continue the celebrations through to the early evening. Details to appear closer to the time.
