This combined walking and building tour explores the remarkable story behind Manchester's LGBT+ Centre, from the political campaigns and community activism that made it possible to the award-winning building that serves the community today.

We begin with a heritage walking tour through the city centre, tracing the political, economic and social history that led Manchester to become one of the first cities in Europe to develop a publicly funded, purpose-built centre for the LGBT+ community.
